In our silverware drawer we have a mix of four different kinds of spoons, all with a slightly different design. There are some with square handles, that we've had since I was born. Some with rounded, half-octagon handles that we've had since I was 3, and three with plastic handles, that we've had for quite some time. Then there's also a bunch of Wendy's plastic spoons, for random stuff, not neccasarily eating with. It's a funny story how we acquired those, but I won't go into it right now.
I like the plastic handled spoons, my mom likes the octagon ones, and my dad likes the square ones. So we try to leave each other's favorite spoons for each other, even if it means rooting through the drawer to avoid someone else's favorite.
There's also 2 extra pointy forks that I like... My dad won't use them.
To others this all seems pretty strange. But I think it's kinda sweet that we save eachother's favorite spoons for one another. Funny how the smallest things can make a difference.
